Austin was a kid known for smiling through just about anything. DURING FRESHMAN SUMMER FOOTBALL CONDITIONING THE COACH WOULD ALWAYS ASK HIM “WHY ARE YOU SMILING SO MUCH?” WHEN THE WORKOUTS GOT TOUGHER, HE WOULD SMILE MORE. LITTLE DID WE KNOW, he’d end up being known as “Smiley” from THAT POINT on….

Ironically, Austin had a dog named Smiley. You’d frequently find him hanging out on the couch with his overbite dog by his side and a bag of hot Cheetos in the other…

Smiley had two sisters… A creative one, who annoyed the heck out of him, but he knew the importance their togetherness brought her. His other sister was a bit more like himself; energetic, full of energy and humor that made them similar in the best way. He loved his sisters both in unique ways.

Smiley’s mama… His comfort in the moments he’d made a mistake and his person to celebrate the big life moments with too. He always insisted that she pray with him before bedtime… she would end up being the last person he’d see when he went to bed and it only made sense that she’d be one of the last people by his side when he passed.

Austin passed away when he was 15 years old while riding bikes with a friend.

His memory can be found in the lives of his friends, family and the moments created at Austin’s Coffee Crafters.

Austin, we miss you like crazy!!! Always & forever in our hearts
